Radical 1970’s modern blends with classic lines and luxury materials to complete our 4,500 SF Beverly Hills renovation. The charismatic homeowners, avid art collectors and design risk takers, did not shy from bold statements in almost every corner of the home. The vision was to pull in furnishings sourced only from Paris circa 1970’s for an eclectic contrast to the art and sculpture sourced from different epochs and countries around the world. Built in 1972, the home showcases stunning original finishes and hardware that has been retained and refinished. The result is a glamorous juxtaposition of layered textures, bold selections of natural materials such as onyx, marble, travertine, quartzite, murano glass, and various textiles and rugs from wool to silk. The rugs throughout the home were sourced from Iran and some date back over 100 years. The eclecticism and unique blend of art, materials and furnishings create a space that evokes different times effortlessly and with relevance. A space that is both bewitching and softly elegant, a gallery of a collected past reflective of our client’s memories.
